Hi Barbara,
I’m excited to get started “Hanging Out” with you. My understanding is that I’ll start getting emails from you Monday, May 28th. Just signed up yesterday and wanted to post a comment to make sure all is working okay from my end right now. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend! Nina
Hi, Nina
I was traveling and didn’t see your note until now. Welcome aboard! Is everything coming through okay?
One possible source of confusion is that the system automatically sends your membership confirmation and login details to the email address associated with your Paypal account. You also have to use that address the first time you log in, but then you can change it. If, like me, it’s a long time since you used Paypal, then that might be an old, half-abandoned, almost forgotten email address, and not the one you generally use nowadays. So if anyone is still having this problem I suggest you check your Paypal account details.
Not able to enter even now with the password givn to me by phone What d I do now ?
Judith
Please send all requests for login assistance to webmaster@barbarasclub.com. When you sign up, two emails are sent to you automatically. One comes via our mailing service (AWeber) and asks you to confirm that you want to receive emails. The other comes from our login system and assigns you a password.
We are finding that many email providers put one or both of these into spam folders. Please check there for them — and for the emails sent when you use the Forgot Your Password feature. If they do not show up in half an hour or so after registering or requesting your password, just send an email to webmaster@barbarasclub.
And, for all reading this now, Judith got in all safe and sound back when the comments above were current. Just thought you’d like to know.
And not after clicking on Forgot Password either.
Esha also got in after the comment above. I guess you wouldn’t think of coming here and saying so (since that all happened by email anyway) but I want other readers to know that Patty and I are working hard to make sure everybody gets what they need. (Especially Patty.) Each mail program and server of yours creates new pitfalls and paths as does our program that is clever enough to send you Hanging Out messages starting at the beginning, and collecting actual money. Patty’s working her tail off here at the beginning of this new program. Compared to my frustration level, she’s positively zen about having to handle the details of this frustrating, Byzantine, Jesuit, Rabbinical, unending cyber-circumlocution and deserves our grateful thanks.
I do want to make sure no one is mean to her. If something’s wrong, you can be sure it’s not Patty’s fault. And, when it comes to being the boss of a company (even a tiny one like this) you should know that my philosophy has always been that, if a ‘customer’ is mean or unkind, the hard-working, honest employee is always right.
Most of you are extremely patient and understanding, and I really respect and admire you for that. Patty (who doesn’t complain as much as I do about anything) probably appreciates it too. I see that a couple of people have taken their frustration out on her. I hope that won’t happen anymore. (And I hope this won’t embarrass her.)
I unexpectedly but happily found my password in my spam folder – so you might try to look there. It’s from Webmaster @ barbarasclub.com- rather than the other emails that are coming from Barbara’s address.
Thanks, An8el. 🙂
I’m 99% sure I did not get a password emailed to me. Please help.

To all who do not have their passwords, go to the Hanging Out page and look for the Forgot Password link at the top of the right column.
I tried this and still have not recieved a password, has it worked for anyone else? How long does it take to recieve the password email after clicking the link?
It takes just a few minutes, unless the reason you did not get the first one is that your ISP blocks email from barbarasclub.com (The 3x/week emails come through AWeber and reach most of you.) Email webmaster@barbarasclub.com if necessary. It can take hours longer than the automated link, so try that first.
Did you get in, Henrietta?
i love this opportunity to spend a glorious year with you, barbara. however, i appear to be having the same login issue & i can’t seem to locate the password that was supposed to have been sent to me. this girl needs some assistance. thx. 🙂
Did you get in, Andrea?
Hi, so excited to get started, but I’m not seeing where or when I was “sent a password”. When I tried selecting “Forgot Passward” it says it was sending my password to my email, however, I’ve checked both “new mail” and “spam” and it is not showing up. I’m not sure what to do.
Did everything work out, Melody?
Dear Barbara,
thanks for your wonderful work. I´m so glad to be a member now!
I do get all the mails until now, but I don´t have a password yet to get into the members only mail from today. How can I get activated?
Thanks
and my best wishes for you

How is it working now, Tanja?
I would love to leave a comment, but the link won’t let me read what was in your todays’ email, Barbara. And I was also unable to access the short video included in Mondays’ email. Whuzu, I say, I say, whuzu?????
HELPFUL TIP: Once your account is created, the email address at which you receive the emails and the email address you use to log in are separated.
TO LOG IN, use the email address you used to purchase your subscription and the password you were sent. Once in, look for the Member Profile link at the bottom of the righthand side of Hanging Out or Courses. Change your login address and password there.
TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS AT WHICH YOU RECEIVE EMAILS, use the link at the very bottom of each email. On that page, look for “edit contact information” in the gray area below Barbara’s photo.
