    1. Hi Barbara,
you suggested to create a Barbara-Sher-Idea-Party and to open an account on meetup. I am still not sure about how I could improve this meetup account even though and, there was one person who wants to show up. I also put an add in our local add-paper, which brought no results.Next thing I am goin to try out and make a post on notice boards in institution like our local adult education center or the university in out town. Another possibility I was thinking of was Facebook, so
I wanted to ask you if it would be O.K. for you to open a Facebook-Page with the name “Barbarasher-IdeaParty-Lueneburg”?, or should I use a different name?

Last week I thought: Why not use the Flowchart-Method on my clients. what brought a lot of fun, but also the insight, that I am pretty good in supporting other people, but have problems with “supporting” myself, or taking care of myself.

Another insight came to me after reading in your Idea-Party-Blog and maybe you can use it for your next resistance course and it has something to do with looking to much on what others do, instead of keep on doing your own stuff. Thats the comparison-trick of resistance, and I perceive it as a very subtle but very strong dynamic, which has a lot destructive qualitiy. It contributes a lot to feelings of being incompetent, have low-self esteem, but also being envious and jealous, but also have low self-esteem and low self-efficacy and it is a fastlane to memories of my father and may elder brother.

    2. I am seriously interested in attaining occupation in the security market.
Anything at all from working the door at a active club to doing nightshift at
condo building certainly interests me. I’m only experiencing difficulty getting started.
Would you like to share recommendations?

    3. Hi Barbara,
I attended your Resistance-Course on September 14th. and I wanted to ask if I could stay in Mail-Contact with you,

      Frank

    4. Dear Barbara,

I hope that in observing your birthday, you were surrounded by KNOWING that you ARE an angel of the hope & joy you are fostering in the world.

    5. Hello, Barbara, Other Members, I was intrigued to read the item about the herbs above. I recently bought some basil and liked its unique fragrance. I was told not to put it in the fridge as the leaves turn black then. I wouldn’t be able to tell that they had. I do miss colors. Anyway, I will try to find something natural to put in my pocket. If not, I will carry my small 15 ml bottle of lavender essential oil with me today. I once thought about studying aroma therapy but never did. Trying to get materials in usable formats proved daunting; and it, aroma therapy, is more an adjunct to other healing modalities i.e. massage or psychotherapy. I understand bibliotherapy is also adjunctive. I even considered a Vocation Vacation with a perfumer, but I chickened out. I am not even sure that the Vocation Vacation website exists anymore.

      • Well, if I were you, I’d buy that basil and not put it in the fridge. Or I’d even buy a small basil plant in a pot so I could grab a leaf whenever I wanted. Basil might be the best spice to sniff for this exercises because
        1) you liked its fragrance and felt it was unique (I agree!)
        2) it’s probably not as familiar as your lavender essential oil, so it might have a more interesting effect.

        My 2 cents. 🙂

    6. Hello Barbara,

I cannot express how fascinated and thrilled I was to find you and the work that you do. I am writing this e-mail literary 20 min after hearing your talks on youtube and hope my words will reach you.
I am 28, from Bulgaria and I have a passion drive for dancing that I have no idea how to make into fruition. Unfortunately, I cannot visit any of your workshops and meet you in person, due to financial restrains. Is there a chance I can send you an e-mail and share my story with you? I am really desperate and needs help.:( I cannot figure it out all by myself.
      deeply appreciated,
      Ilina

      • Are there any international dance scholarships or fellowships with ballet or modern dance companies that you might audition for?
        PS

        • In order to audition I need first take classes, in order to have some technical background. I have some skills but they are not at a good level. Right now I cannot afford classes. I try to invest as much time practicing alone with beginners youtube tutorials, at least to keep up some physical flexibility. However, I need to move on soon from this paradigm and start taking classes.

          • I’m looking (for the first time) at a site called Freecyle.com, recommended (among other amazing suggestions) by Rimfire. I wonder if you might find a teacher who would give you the essential training you need – since it sounds like you’re a ‘natural’ in any case – in exchange for something he or she needs.

Take a look at the site. It might be very interesting to you.

            • Thank you Barbara, however, i could not find anything in the website.
maybe the dance love is just one of many symptoms of current dissatisfaction with the course of my life. however, finding all of the nitty gritty details that torment my souls is hard for me right now. I want to share all of this with someone. My closest people do not see me as I am now, but rush to offer saving boats and critics. I wonder if I should speak to a therapist so I get a neutral opinion. I don’t know.

    7. Hello Barbara,

Due to changed circumstances I was unable to complete the last few months of my first year Hanging Out subscription. Rather than subscribing to Year 2, please let me know what’s involved with renewing Year 1. I think I still have much to learn from that level.

      Cheers,
      Helen

      • Helen, go to the Free Stuff or Courses page and log in. Then you can view a list of links to all the first year messages on the Hanging Out page. Tell us which one to start with and we can even re-send the Monday, Wednesday, Friday emails one at a time.
