Read the chapter, then turn to the next-to-last page for the Scanner Tool Kit items that best help Serial Specialists. Try at least one of the tools, two if this chapter describes you.

Here are the Scanner Tools recommended for Serial Specialists:

  • Tool 1: Your Scanner Daybook on page 140
  • Tool 2: The Never-Ending Resume on page 188
  • Tool 3: Web E-Mail Account on page 190
  • Tool 4: Letters from the Field on page 190

Tell us which tool(s) you chose and give us a review. If you found one helpful, consider giving it a page of its own in your Daybook. After you share your experience, read the rest of the comments and reply to a few.

  1. My most recent Never-Ending Resume was for my daughter.
I suppose to convince us both that her dad’s special and not worthless.
My current mindset’s not looking for an employer or impressing anyone with a story about the past – this Seven’s naturally focused on what I’m doing in the present and if that impresses you, that’s fine, especially if you’re my daughter. I already know I can do most about anything I decide.

    • oops – posted after distraction

I’m dawdling toward having a hosted repository with letters and materials for others.
I particularly like to create records as part of active decision-making.
