Okay. On to Chapter Seven next. Use the Next link (up above the title) to continue on to Exercise 1: Three Magic Steps after you are done adding your comments.
My biggest takeaway from this chapter is that I don’t actually want to do as many things as I thought. I have a tendency towards hyperbole and allowed myself to fall prey to thinking that I couldn’t possibly do all the things on a list that would no doubt be a mile long! Once I made the list . . . Surprise! It wasn’t nearly as long as I thought it was AND I found myself shortening the list once I tried envisioning myself doing some the things I had listed.
I still haven’t managed to allocate time to a specific project, but I am performing some family operations and getting to a space I hope might help me focus on my Big List. I have some sense of hope and recognize the journey continues to lay ahead, one step at a time. Perhaps some ideas will go into the Interest Index Binder and I vaguely recognize I won’t get to everything I imagine. Perhaps more than hope, I’m finding some peace in that I’m doing what I’m doing and not what I’m thinking.
