  1. All of these offerings are wonderful! It’s hard to make a choice. Gee, I wish I had the thou or so that I need for the next write-speak workshop. Looks like another interview coming up in the next few days. Pray hard, and maybe I will! I sure do belong in the next class. I fit the description of someone who should join it to a T. And I have a warm, runny, wonderful feeling inside when I read about it, and as to the existing job opportunity, as a psychotherapist–a cold lump in my midsection, and my toes and feet are retracting, and my eyes are glazing over. Bodily signals mean something! I almost landed the job in Shelton last April before I had to move, and have been in moving mode ever since, up until now, having spent the summer moving twice! And now they came after me, asking if I’m interested. Said they were reviewing my resume which was submitted last December. An outfit in Port Orchard that I forgot I even applied to! Wow! There are gold nuggets here, but still, my feet retract and toes curl up in comparison to the Write-Speak Adventure. I’m so glad the program has become more affordable. I guess my professional job as a therapist would have to be the “good-enough job” that I get so that it can get me the $$ I need to get to what and where I really want to go. Because, there’s no question about it, I want to do what Barbara does; I have already been recognized for my writing; have been a book editor for years, and have already done public speaking, which is infinitely easier than being a performing musician. So I’m ready. And today, on a Sunday, yet, they contact me with an offer to contact them regarding a therapist’s job. I don’t believe in accidents, coincidences, doubts, etc. Things are happening!

P.S.: I was in on the whole 10-hour call a few days ago. Whew!! Very hard to do while sitting there for the whole ten hours on a land line at my dining room table. I did enjoy my wonderful, magic spaghetti sauce with the49 secret ingredients. While I was on the phone. The only one I will reveal, that I normally don’t include, is deer meat for some of the meatballs. I just happened to have some on hand.

  2. That was such an awesome tele-summit!!! Thank you so much to Barbara, Patty, and all the authors and presenters who put time and energy into this. We are all tremendously blessed by your contributions!!!

  3. Cheers!

Is making a comment here enough to enter my email in the drawing?
    🙂

I’ve been on pretty much all day (on and off; I keep getting interrupted by folks as there are some world-shaking shifts (as described by some of those folks) going on here) – but I just wanted to give a huge THANKS to Barbara and Patti N. and the MC whose voice I don’t recognize but also hope to get to know.

    🙂

I also want to mention again I’ve had trouble getting recordings post-workshop and/or telecall (for this and for Hanging Out); should I send an email a week post to make sure I’m doing what’s necessary to access them …?

    • Watch for a newsletter in about a week about the recordings, M.

Our five magnificent MCs (for 2 hours each) were Patty Newbold, Karen Cardozo, Amy Troncelliti Milavsky, Kimberly Stewart, and Karin Collinsworth.

  4. Hi there. Can you please tell me how we can buy these telesummit books? There seem to be no hyperlinks to the books. Also, it frequently happened throughout the telesummit that music would come on and blot out the sound of the speaker. Is there any way to overcome this problem, please? It seems to come from the conference provider. Thank you!

    • Cori, we just made the links to the books a bit larger on http://barbarasclub.com/telesummitbooks/. Try refreshing the page and looking for the bold, blue links.

To get the bonuses (the indented titles), which are all short PDFs, you need to buy (or request, in the case of the free books) one of the books and send your receipt (or any other proof you got the book) to the email address associated with the book. This goes directly to the PDF authors, so they can send you their PDFs.

      • Thank you, Patty! That worked. All the titles in black turned into blue hyperlinks. I appreciate your help!

May i ask you a question about the coaching sessions, please? Given that they are held only once a month, is there a good chance of getting to hear from all of those who have questions/issues within the hour? Not knowing how many people are on a call, I just wondered if everyone would get heard. Thanks again. 🙂

        • No more than 12 on a call. And with everyone working on the same assignments, folks usually have the same or highly related questions. Once a month seems to be just about the right frequency for them.

    • The music indicates either your call is on hold or that you entered the wrong access code. Did you hear it at the same time as the speaker? If so, I’ll investigate, but it will help to know if you were using a telephone, Skype or the VoIP dialer.

      • Thank you, Patty! The instrumental music comes on while the speakers are speaking. I’ve been listening for hours now and it has happened with each speaker. The music cuts them off for a while. You can hear them very very faintly because the music is louder than the speakers. Then the music dies away and I can hear them clearly again. I am calling using my Skype phone (not free skype but using my subscription to call the USA). This is a really wonderful telesummit and I am SO enjoying it despite the technical hiccups. 🙂

BTW, do you have contact details for Dr Kate Duttro, please? She said we could write to her to ask for a copy of the questions she read out during her presentation. I went to her website but there is no CONTACT button. thank you!

          • I’ll see if I can find out what causes that. Haven’t run into it on that system before, and you’re the only one to mention it today. Once we had someone who heard a changing array of tunes and finally realized it was Pandora playing on her smart phone. But it sounds like you were getting their on-hold music.

      • No, Skype blocked this contact. I tried for an hour, but I wasn’t lucky. But don’t worry, I had so much input and took notes of these 5 hours and have a lot of names, books and stuff to google. 😉 And I am waiting for the recordings. I am proud and happy that I could manage to listen so long at all. I got enough sleep through this blocking (;-) German time zone) and I can tell that I awoke with a special content calmness this morning.
Thanks to everybody who contributed to the party!
        Sonja

    • Hi Sonja,
I also dialed in from Germany via Skype. It was a drag. I must have dialed 50 times, refusing to give up. Got disconnected over and over and over. I suspected it might be Skype trying to make a buck, because my service cost with every redial.
It did get though permanently after I took off my new bluetooth headset. It seemes like my easybox modem and the headset weren’t getting along. Switching vom wireless to Ethernet didn’t lead to any improvement, but without the headset, I was in. I’ll try to get the headset replaced for one with an usb plug for future events.
